Somavida is a teaching clinic. We train the next generation of Precision Neuromuscular Therapists through a hands-on, mentorship-driven program unlike anything else in the field.
Our 2-Year PNMT Training Program
Somavida's training program takes Licensed Massage Therapists and develops them into Certified Precision Neuromuscular Therapists (CPNMTs). Over two years, you'll work alongside experienced CPNMTs in our clinic, learning clinical reasoning, precise assessment, and the art of treating the source of pain, not just symptoms.
This isn't a weekend seminar. It's a rigorous, hands-on apprenticeship where you build real clinical skills with real clients under direct mentorship from our team of certified therapists.
What You'll Learn
Clinical Reasoning
Learn to think like a detective, not follow recipes. You'll evaluate each client's unique pain pattern and develop targeted treatment strategies.
Precise Assessment
Master range of motion testing, orthopedic evaluation, and exclusionary muscle testing to identify the true source of pain.
Targeted Treatment
Develop the specificity that defines PNMT, allowing you to treat with focus and accuracy, not heavy pressure.
Real Client Experience
Work with actual clients from day one. Observe, assist, and eventually lead sessions under the guidance of your mentor.

What Makes Somavida Different
Most PNMT training happens in weekend seminars. At Somavida, you learn in the clinic, mentored by therapists who treat complex pain conditions every day. You'll be part of a collaborative team led by Clinic Director Sarah Lashley, who has been teaching the TMJ Intensive class for Precision Neuromuscular Therapy seminars since 2016.
Our team approach means you're never on your own. You observe experienced therapists, participate in New Client Sessions alongside a CPNMT, receive direct feedback on your technique, and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop.
